Had the joy of working with this couple for their wedding celebration. I love doing things that don’t mimic the traditional chain of events and this one is a classic example. The day started with the couple getting ready and their first look photos. Guest arrived for the ceremony at Loring Park followed by a receiving line and photo of the couple and all their guests on the steps of the Loring Park Community Arts Center. The couple not wanting a typical sit-down dinner (or lunch for that matter), we created an ice cream social. Custom desserts, kegs of root beer, and ice cream were enjoyed by everyone. We also had a live chalk artist creating a drawing of a bumble bee, since the couple keeps bees. The décor was a blend of outdoor earthy elements, vivid greens and succulents, root beer bottles, and wooden box centerpieces.
